My oldest portrait drawing, based on diapositive
projected on drawing sheet.

This is one of my first pictures - an enlargement of
a small photo of Edyta Górniak which
I've found in a magazine. There was something I liked in that foto
and I wanted to show it in my picture, so the result is as you can see
and it isn't too similar to the original.

And here is another Edyta Górniak. It's also from a magazine
photo, this time with no enlargement, I've just copied it,
and I gave the original picture to my friend because he liked her
very very much...

This is a cubirealistic interpretation of a portrait (the fun was
to make a composite form of every line). Let the resolution
of the reproduction not make you wrong -
I just wanted details to be seen well - the original size is only

During the holidays in 1996 I was reading some Grzegorz Rosinski's
cartoons and I found some frames I wanted to do something with.
First, I copied them in 1:1 scale, which was difficult because
original height of these pictures is only several cm so even 0.1 mm
of my accuracy wasn't enough to make them exact enough. But they're
nice, aren't they? :))

Everything you can find in the first stage of my art:), can be found in this
picture. I started this work about 1996. It is a special kind of connection
of realistic and abstractive elements.
